Peri-menopause.

It is the transition period when women and those who have female reproductive organs begin to notice changes in their reproductive cycle.

Peri-Menopause.

  • Hot flashes: Sudden, intense feeling of warmth, often accompanied by flushing and sweating.
  • Night sweats: Excessive sweating during sleep, leading to damp or soaked bed sheets and clothing.
  • Sleep disturbances: Insomnia, difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, and disrupted sleep patterns.
  • Vaginal dryness: Thinning and drying of vaginal tissues, leading to discomfort during intercourse and an increased risk of urinary tract infections.
  • Mood swings: Emotional changes characterized by irritability, anxiety, depression, and fluctuating moods.
  • Fatigue: Persistent tiredness and lack of energy, often unrelated to physical exertion.
  • Irregular periods: Menstrual cycles become unpredictable, with periods occurring closer together or farther apart.
  • Decreased libido: Loss of sexual desire or interest in sexual activities.
  • Memory problems: Difficulty concentrating, forgetfulness, and occasional lapses in memory.
  • Joint and muscle pain: Aches and stiffness in joints and muscles, sometimes accompanied by swelling.
  • Headaches: Increased frequency or intensity of headaches, including migraines.
  • Urinary changes: Increased frequency of urination, urgency, and an increased risk of urinary incontinence.
  • Dry skin and hair: Reduced skin elasticity, dryness, and increased susceptibility to wrinkles. Hair may become thin and brittle.
  • Weight gain: A gradual increase in body weight, particularly around the abdomen.
  • Heart palpitations: Sensation of rapid or irregular heartbeats, often accompanied by a fluttering or pounding feeling in the chest.
